Job summary

Sense is looking for passionate Relief Support Workers to join our Peterborough services. You will have the opportunity to choose your own shifts across mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays, with a pay rate of £13/hr.

We offer 24/7 support to people with complex needs, training on start, and a range of benefits including pension contributions and life assurance. No two days will be the same as you support individuals in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided on start.
• Experience of working with challenging behaviour is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support with everyday tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Support with finances and medications.
• Go into the community for activities, shopping and social events.

We are looking for passionate and motivated Relief support workers to join a fantastic team at our services in Peterborough, paying £13/hr.

Sense offers 24 hours support to individuals, 365 days a year. There will be a variety of shifts on offer including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays. As a Relief Support Worker you will be able to choose your own shifts.

In Peterborough, we have a variety of services including residential, supported living and day service and as aRelief support worker you will have a choice of where and when you want to work, and will have the opportunity to gain a lot of experience by supporting individuals in a variety of different settings where no two days are the same.

You do not require prior experience as full training will be provided when you start this role. However, prior experience of working with challenging behaviour is desirable.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Positive, with a can-do attitude
• Caring, patient, and empathetic
• Flexible and comfortable working across a varied shift pattern
• Willing to attend training and develop in their role

This role might include supporting people with:

• Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning
• Personal care and hygiene

• Going into the community for activities, shopping, and social events
