Job summary

Sense is seeking a Relief Worker to join our day service centre in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This casual relief role offers flexible shifts from Monday to Saturday and pay at £13 per hour, supporting adults and a children group on Saturdays.

You will assist with daily routines, personal care, activities, and social engagement, occasionally accompanying people on trips. Training is provided, and Sense supports independence with a range of benefits and ongoing development opportunities.

This is a casual relief role at £13 per hour, with various shift patterns from Monday to Saturday. We support people to have meaningful engagement in activities and develop on life skills. You will support our adults on Monday to Friday and a children group on Saturdays.

In this role, you'll be:

• Supporting with daily routines, personal care, and medication
• Accompanying people on trips, outings, and holidays
• Enabling people to enjoy creative activities such as drama, art, and gardening
• Supporting people with their social lives, friendships, and employment.
