Salary: FC6 £15.72 per hour, any unsocial hours will be paid in addition to the hourly rate.

Location: Based in one of our 8 Residential Care homes in Fife. Preference of location will be taken at interview stage.

Job Details
We are looking for motivated and driven individuals with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of Older People, with experience of care within a highly complex yet rewarding environment.
The successful candidate will undertake the keyworker role, which will involve creating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans, and keeping accurate records of support planning, ensuring that the service user is offered opportunities and care as outlined in their care plan. The role will also involve promoting the service users' access to opportunities in their local communities and enabling them to live a meaningful life.
We provide ongoing care and support to vulnerable older people; the care homes also support a respite, STAR unit, and day service.

The Person
Provide care and support that meets the Health and Social Care standards.
You must be able to work with other Council services and partner agencies to support the effective planning and delivery of care and support within our service.
You should be able to work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team.
You must have or be able to work towards the required qualification as required by the Scottish Social Services Council. Within the timeframes set at the point of registration, once qualified, it is the person's responsibility to inform the Scottish Social Services Council accordingly.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration.
