Relief Social Care Worker (Nightshift), Fife

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our care home team in Fife Council’s Residential and Day Services (East), on a casual basis, for the position of relief social care worker (night shift).

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of Older People; with experience of care within a highly complex yet rewarding environment.

The residential care homes in Fife provide ongoing care and support to vulnerable older people: the care homes also support a STAR unit, respite, and day services.

The successful candidate will undertake the keyworker role, which involves creating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans, keeping accurate records of support planning, and ensuring the service user receives the opportunities, experiences, and care outlined in their care plan.

Fife Council is committed to delivering services that are responsive, reliable, efficient, and effective.

Interviews will be conducted face-to-face.
