Anchor Group Services is seeking a Relief Security Officer for our Derby site. The role involves patrols, reporting incidents, and maintaining site safety and records. A valid SIA licence is essential, with shifts including days and nights on a zero-hours contract.

Qualifications

• Full 5-year employment history is required.
• Valid frontline SIA licence DS or SG.
• Customer service experience and confidence to handle conflict.
• Flexible to meet job requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Smart appearance and well-groomed.
• Reliable, punctual and enthusiastic.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience with gatehouse, alarm response and CCTV duties is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the site to protect property and people.
• Respond to incidents and liaise with the public and staff.
• Maintain accurate records per procedures.
• Cover shifts, including days, nights and weekends.
• Operate and monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
• Provide professional first-line support to visitors.
