Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Relief Security Officer at our busy logistics site in Knottingley, West Yorkshire. You will provide cover for holidays, sickness, and vacancies, with shifts varying to meet business needs while maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, drivers and contractors.

You’ll oversee visitor entry, gatehouse duties, incident reporting, and customer service, supported by an established benefits package and ongoing training.

Relief Security Officer

Location: Knottingley, West Yorkshire

Pay Rate: £12.84 per hour

Mitie is looking for reliable, adaptable individuals to join our security operations at a busy logistics site in Knottingley. This is a temporary relief position providing cover for holidays, sickness, vacancies, and additional operational requirements. What We’re Looking For

Essential

• Valid SIA Licence
• Good communication skills

Desirable

• Previous security experience
• Gatehouse or reception experience
• Logistics or distribution site experience
• First Aid qualification
• Full UK driving licence
