Job summary

Securitas UK Swindon seeks a professional Relief Security Officer to cover days, nights and weekends across multiple corporate sites. You will protect people, property and information while delivering excellent customer service.

A valid UK SIA Door Supervisor licence, driving licence and flexibility are essential. From day one you’ll access development opportunities and join a values-driven team committed to integrity, vigilance and helpfulness.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence. First Aid qualification. CCTV Licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
• Previous experience in corporate security environments.
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable employment history.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent customer service skills with a smart and professional appearance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors with a professional and customer-focused approach.
• Conducting regular site patrols, security inspections, and safety checks to protect people, property, and assets.
• Monitoring access and egress points, CCTV systems, and ensuring all security protocols and client procedures are followed.
• Responding effectively to incidents, emergencies, alarm activations, evacuations, and search procedures.
• Maintaining vigilance at all times, preventing disruption, identifying risks, and reporting incidents promptly.
• Completing accurate incident reports, site records, handovers, and all required security documentation.

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and flexible Relief Security Officer to provide security services across various corporate and commercial sites in the Swindon area. As a Relief Security Officer, you will protect employees, property, and assets while following site-specific procedures and customer requirements. The Relief Security Officer will deliver exceptional customer service, consistently demonstrating Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. Flexibility to work across multiple locations, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays, is essential. A valid full SIA licence is required before commencing operational shifts.
