Job Role: Relief Security Officer

Working Hours: Zero hour contract

Pay: Ranging from £12.21 to £13.07 per hour, as per site rate

Location: Various shopping centres across Hampshire (Portsmouth, Southampton, and Fareham)

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity at Anchor Group Services for an experienced Security Officer to provide flexible support across shopping centres in Hampshire, including Portsmouth, Southampton, and Fareham.

Requirements: A valid SIA Licence is essential. You should be able to deliver high customer service, conduct patrols, and stay vigilant.

Additional: A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle are preferred, as travel across sites in Hampshire is required.

Responsibilities:

• Protect property, people, and assets in accordance with site-specific procedures
• Report irregularities and prevent losses
• Manage incidents appropriately and escalate when necessary
• Complete detailed reports of activities and observations
• Maintain legal compliance and uphold the organisation's reputation
• Support and assist visitors and customers professionally
• Respond to customer queries and requests appropriately
• Maintain professional conduct at all times

Requirements

• Checkable employment history for the past 5 years
• Valid frontline SIA licence (DS or SG)
• Customer service experience and conflict resolution skills
• Flexibility to meet job needs
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
