Do you have what it takes to be a Relief Security Officer with SGS? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Relief Security Officer to join our dynamic team on a zero-hour contract. This role is perfect for anyone looking to stay within the Security industry or start a new career in Security. This is a customer-facing role, and we are seeking candidates who can work:

• Provide security services at various sites across a defined geographical area as required.
• Protect the customer's employees, property, and assets in line with the relevant Assignment Instructions and site-specific requirements.
• Work in challenging situations, sometimes on short notice.
• Shift times are variable; work is ad-hoc based on client requirements.
• Ability to work day and night shifts.
• Work across various sites, such as corporate front of house, warehousing, retail, construction sites, etc.

To succeed in this role, you should be confident, articulate, and able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Reliable transportation or good public transport links are essential to reach different sites as needed. Although demanding, this role allows you to demonstrate excellent customer service skills while engaging with customers, clients, and visitors, remaining alert to security issues, and ensuring everyone's safety. Please note that you will need your own transport to travel between sites.
Essential Skills
