We are recruiting Security Professionals based on-site at His Majesty’s Court & Tribunal Service buildings. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. You need a positive customer service approach. Our Relief Security Officers provide flexible cover and are an asset to our teams. You will be assigned a region and may need to cover different courts within it to cover absence, holiday, etc.
What does a typical day look like? This is not an average security job; each day within the Court & Tribunals service offers something new. You will ensure a safe environment for this essential national service and become a vital part of the justice system. You will find fulfillment in protecting society and vulnerable people during challenging times.

You will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with flexible and part-time options if needed. No weekend or night shifts, but overtime may be available on Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays. Weekend hours are paid at 1.5x for Saturdays and 2x for Sundays, with weekday overtime outside normal hours also at 1.5x.
Guaranteed 40 hours weekly, with a £1 per hour attendance allowance. Pay rate will increase in April 2024 to £11.67/hour plus attendance allowance. To succeed, you need:
