Job summary

G4S is seeking a Relief Security Officer to join their team at a well-known site in Sidcup. The role is on a zero-hour contract with a pay rate of £13.51 per hour and requires flexibility across day and night shifts.

Candidates should hold a valid SIA License (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor), have a full UK driving license and access to their own car, and be prepared to greet visitors, patrol, conduct searches, and write incident reports.

Qualifications

• Aged 18 or over.
• Preferably holding a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet staff and visitors and ensure security protocols are followed.
• Conduct searches when required.
• Patrol the premises.
• Deal with security incidents.
• Write incident reports.
• Carry out gatehouse duties.
• Perform reception duties.

Contract Information:

Pay Rate: £13.51 per hour

Hours: 0 hour contract only.

Shift Pattern: Flexibility required Monday to Sunday, on a day and night shift rotation.

SIA License: Security Guarding or Door Supervisor License

Location: Sidcup

You must hold a full UK manual driving and your own car is needed for this position.

Your Time at Work

As Relief Security Officer your duties will include:

• Meet and greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols
• Conducting searches where required
• Patrolling the premises
• Dealing with security incidents
• Incident report writing
• Gatehouse Duties
• Reception Duties

Our Perfect Worker

What we're looking for:

• To be aged 18 or over
• To preferably hold a valid Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License
• Be a great communicator, verbally and written
• To have great customer service skills
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office platforms
