Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with G4S, is recruiting a Dedicated Relief Security Officer for a well known site in Birmingham. The role pays £13.53 per hour for Lodge Officer duties and £14.22 per hour when covering the Weighbridge, based on a 42-hour week.

Shifts include days, nights and weekends on a 12-hour pattern. Applicants must hold a valid SIA license (Door Supervisor) and a full UK manual driving licence.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SIA license and a Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Aged 18 or over and able to work a flexible shift pattern including days, nights and weekends.
• Good IT knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensuring security and safety protocols are followed on site.
• Conducting searches when required and patrolling the premises (foot and vehicle).
• Responding to security incidents and completing incident reports.
• Provide excellent customer service with a smile.

We are currently recruiting for a Dedicated Relief Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in Birmingham.

Contract Information:

Pay Rate:

£13.53 for the Lodge Officer, and £14.22 if covering the Weighbridge

Hours:

42 hours per week

Shift Pattern:

Covering days, nights, and weekends- 12-hour shifts

SIA Licence:

Door Supervisor

Applicants must have a valid SIA license and a Full UK Manual Driving Licence to be considered for this role.

Your Time at Work

As a Dedicated Relief Security Officer, you will be ensuring the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile.

Your duties will include:

• Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site
• Conducting searches when required
• Patrolling of the premises - both inside and outside (undertake patrols on foot and by vehicle)
• Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report forms

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.

You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern, which will include days, nights and weekends.

It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA licence, along with a full manual UK driving licence.
