Job summary

Carlisle Support Services in Birmingham is seeking a motivated Security Officer to join our team, delivering a friendly, professional presence to customers and colleagues.

You will help ensure safety and security across venues, conduct patrols, manage access points, and respond calmly to incidents.

We welcome applicants with SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licences, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn; full training provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence.
• At least 18 years old - licence requirement by the SIA.
• Friendly, approachable and professional in all interactions.
• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Offering guidance, information, and a friendly face as a first point of contact for customers.

SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence holders. Previous experience in security is great, but if you’ve only recently got your SIA licence that’s fine. What’s just as important is your enthusiasm and willingness to learn. We will provide all the training and support you need to succeed. Our goal is to help you to become a valued member of the Carlisle team.
