Job summary

CarlisleSupport Services is seeking enthusiastic, reliable security professionals to join our team, protecting venues and clients across the UK. You will receive full training and support to grow in your role, with flexible hours and a smart, visible security presence.

Successful candidates will undertake full induction, licensed guarding training, and ongoing development opportunities. This role requires 18+, a valid SIA licence, and a commitment to working as part of a team.

Qualifications

• SIA licence requires validity and compliance with security duties.
• Proven reliability, punctuality and professional appearance.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.

• Provide a smart, visible, proactive, and engaging security presence and deterrent
• Effective conflict management, always taking control of incidents
• Control access and egress, conducting security patrols to deter crime
• Able to proactively and professionally engage with the public
• Be aware of hazards and incidents, and responding appropriately
• Providing guidance, information and directing customers as a first point of contact
• Managing and following safety and security processes and procedures
• Working as part of a team, building strong working relationships

The Role

Your core role will include, but not be limited to, the following activities:

Is this you

• At least 18 years old


• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence


• 5 years checkable work and address history


• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance


• Friendly, approachable, and always professional


• Enthusiasticand motivated to do a great job


• Ideally some experience within a Security environment or a customer facing role


• Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner


• Some experience working within a Security environment and working as part of a team


• Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner

Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes.This could include the following: passport, driving licence, utility bill dated in the last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, original birth certificate or a validsharecode.
