Job summary

MAN Commercial Protection are seeking an experienced Relief Security Officer to cover prestigious, corporate and static sites in Birmingham City Centre and surrounding areas.

Shift pattern includes Days, Nights and Weekends. Payrate is £13.23 per hour or site rate, with benefits such as uniform, in-house training, and IPSA membership.

Qualifications

• 5-year checkable work/education history required.
• Valid SIA SG or DS Licence required.
• Valid CCTV Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Reception duties and greeting visitors, ensuring security procedures are followed.
• Write accurate incident reports promptly and maintain a visible security presence.
• Check alarms, log information, and respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Patrol premises and manage unlock/lock procedures.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Reception Duties
• Greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out.
• Write accurate incident reports in a timely manner and provide a visible high -profile security presence.
• Knowledge of security systems including life safety systems
• Check alarms and log information.
• Respond to and deal with all site incidents and emergencies.
• Patrolling of premises.
• Unlock/lock.
• Any other reasonable requests.

The ideal candidate must have:

• You must be able to work on your own initiative
• Full 5year checkable work/education history
• Valid SIA SG or DS Licence
• Valid CCTV Licence
