Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Relief Security Officer for the Andover, Tidworth and Aldershot area. The role is part-time with flexible shifts, and applicants must drive or have access to their own vehicle.

The position involves providing security coverage across multiple sites, following AI instructions, and maintaining high professional standards while supporting safety for staff and the public. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision - CCTV PSS preferred).
• Previous security experience (retail security experience is an advantage).
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a calm, confident approach under pressure.
• Flexibility to cover days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible and vigilant security presence across various client sites.
• Follow site-specific Assignment Instructions (AI's) and ensure full compliance.
• Maintain a high standard of personal and professional conduct.
• Ensure the safety of the public and staff by proactively monitoring for risks and hazards.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and effectively.
• Accurately document incidents and ensure all reporting procedures are followed.
• Make timely check calls and emergency contacts as required.
• Attend and complete all required training and development programmes.

The Role: Relief Security Officer – Andover and Aldershot

We're looking for a professional, reliable, and flexible Relief Security Officer to join our team in the Andover and Aldershot areas. This role requires someone who can cover a variety of shifts and locations, so access to your own vehicle and a full UK driving licence is essential.
