Job summary

ANT Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Captain Master to lead the transfer of a vessel during relocation. You will have full command, ensure safe navigation, and enforce compliance with COLREGS, SOLAS and ISM Code while supervising the crew.

This temporary assignment requires immediate availability and the ability to mobilise to South East England within 3 hours of notification, with STCW Master and ENG1 certificates and 3+ years command on vessels under 500GT.

Qualifications

• Valid STCW Master Certificate of Competency.
• Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years command experience on vessels under 500 GT.
• Ability to mobilise to the South East England region within 3 hours of alert.

Responsibilities

• Assume full command of the vessel, overseeing navigational and operational aspects.
• Ensure compliance with COLREGS, SOLAS, ISM Code and other regulations.
• Conduct predeparture safety checks and risk assessments.
• Lead and manage the crew, ensuring discipline and safety.
• Coordinate with authorities and stakeholders throughout the voyage.

Requirements:

• Clean criminal record (background check mandatory).
• Ability to mobilise to the South East England region within 3 hours of alert.
