Serco is seeking a 2nd Officer to support safe and efficient vessel operations, navigation, deck duties, and onboard safety onboard ships. You will perform bridge watches, plan passages, and supervise deck activities, contributing to reliable maritime services.

The role requires STCW including survival and firefighting, an Unlimited OOW certificate, ENG1, and a valid passport. You will work in a fast-paced maritime environment prioritising safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold Unlimited Officer of the Watch certificate.

Responsabilités

• Undertake bridge watches as directed by the Master or Chief Officer.
• Maintain navigational charts, publications, and records.
• Prepare passage and voyage plans with the Master.
• Supervise deck operations and safety practices.
• Maintain emergency preparedness and safety equipment.
• Monitor cleanliness, stores and spare parts; communicate with crew and stakeholders.
