Job summary

ASEL is recruiting a Relief Retail Security Officer in Corby. The role involves visible deterrence, incident response, and in-store guarding responsibilities across varied shifts.

You will compile incident reports and collaborate with local authorities as needed. Applicants must hold a valid SIA licence, be able to provide a five-year checkable history, and bring right-to-work documentation and proof of address to interviews.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence required to apply for this role.
• Full training provided; retail security experience is advantageous.
• Five-year checkable work or education history is required.
• Bring right to work documents and a recent proof of address to interview.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the shop floor and deterring criminal activity.
• Assessing vulnerabilities and proactively minimising risk.
• Liaising with management and local authorities when applicable.
• Managing vulnerable persons with empathy.
• Carrying out guarding duties in-store and responding to incidents.
• Completing incident reports and using tablets or phones for planning.
• Producing detailed and legible incident reports for clients and local authorities.
