Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking a Relief Retail Security Officer to work across Warwick and surrounding areas, providing a proactive security presence and supporting Tesco locations. You will cover holidays and sickness, with shifts approximately 6am-3pm and 3pm-11pm or midnight, offering flexibility and full training.

Ideal candidates are 18+, hold an SIA licence for guarding or door supervision, and have a history of reliable, flexible work.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old – legal requirement to work in a front-line licensable activity.
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence.
• 5 years checkable work and address history.

Responsibilities

• Ensure colleague safety and provide a visible security presence.
• Manage and deter incidents with professional conflict handling.
• Control access and egress; conduct security patrols across sites.
• Engage with the public in a proactive, friendly manner and provide guidance as needed.
• Follow safety and security processes and procedures and report hazards.

Our usual shift times are 6am-3pm, 3pm-10pm/11pm with some sites having midnight finishes.
