Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking Relief Retail Security Officers to support Tesco and other clients across Coventry and surrounding areas. The role covers various shifts, with a smart, approachable presence, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

You will work on-site at multiple locations with shifts that include early mornings and evenings. Full induction and ongoing training are provided to support your development in a growing market.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old – a legal requirement to work in a front-line licensable activity.
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence.
• 5 years checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance.
• Friendly, approachable, and always professional.
• Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job.
• Experience in a Security environment or customer facing role preferred.
• Provide original documentation for screening (passport, driving licence, utility bill, HMRC letter, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide a smart, visible, proactive security presence and deterrent.
• Control access and egress, conduct patrols to deter crime.
• Interact with the public in a professional manner.
• Follow safety and security processes and procedures.
• Work as part of a team and build strong working relationships.

Our usual shift times are 6am-3pm, 3pm-10pm/11pm with some sites having midnight finishes.
