Responsibilities

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor.
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times.
• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences.
• Carrying out regular store patrols.
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss.
• Working closely with store management teams.
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks.
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite.

Job description

We are looking for a Part-Time Retail Relief Security Officer to join our team at Sainsbury's Thetford, with opportunities to provide additional cover across nearby Sainsbury's stores when required.

Although this is a part-time position, there are plenty of opportunities to pick up additional shifts and overtime across the surrounding area, including stores in Bury St Edmunds, Ely, March, King's Lynn and other nearby Sainsbury's locations requiring security cover.

This role would suit someone looking for regular part-time hours while also having the flexibility to increase their hours through overtime opportunities.

£14.51 per hour + Paid Lunch Break
