Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Retail Security Officer to protect customers and staff, deter theft and maintain a safe shopping environment. You will patrol store floors, monitor CCTV and work with store teams to provide excellent service.

• Operate CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss.
• Work closely with store management teams.
• Support partnerships with Police and local crime networks.
• Use body worn CCTV for safety on site.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times

• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Working closely with store management teams
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite

What You'll Need

• A valid SIA licence (or willingness to complete the training – we may be able to support you with this)
• A full 5-year checkable employment or education history (this is essential for vetting)
• A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach
