Join to apply for the Relief Retail Security Officer role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services

Mitie is seeking a Retail Security Officer to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a safe shopping environment, free from crime, for customers and colleagues.

Pay rate: £12.45 per hour

Shifts: Various shifts to be discussed at interview

Job Overview

It is preferable to hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates; however, training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances.

Vetting Requirements

A full 5-year checkable employment/education history is essential; failure to provide this may result in withdrawal of the offer or termination of employment.

Main Duties

• Deliver industry-leading customer service
• Deter violence and public order offences
• Conduct patrols of the store
• Utilise CCTV systems to support crime reduction and stock loss prevention
• Liaise with store management teams
• Coordinate with Police and crime partnerships to foster relationships and support crime reduction
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety and crime reduction
