Job Overview

Mitie is seeking a Retail Security Officer capable of delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe shopping environment free from crime for customers and colleagues.

It is preferable to hold a current SIA license or certificates, though training for a license can be provided in some circumstances.

Vetting

A full 5-year checkable employment/education history is required; failure to provide this may result in withdrawal of offer or termination of employment.

Main Duties

• Deliver industry-leading customer service
• Deter violence and public order offences
• Conduct patrols of the store
• Utilize CCTV systems to support crime reduction and stock loss prevention
• Liaise with store management teams
• Coordinate with Police and crime partnerships to support crime reduction
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety and crime reduction
