Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to cover Cambridge Stores, Ely & Bury St Edmunds Superstores and Connivence Stores within the region. You will help protect customers and colleagues, deter theft and maintain a safe shopping environment on the shop floor.

You'll enjoy flexible shifts discussed at interview, with paid lunch breaks and guaranteed contracted hours. A professional, proactive approach and a valid SIA licence are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence or willingness to complete training
• Full 5-year checkable employment or education history (essential for vetting)

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Working closely with store management teams
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite

Job description

Your role is to cover Cambridge Stores, Ely & Bury St Edmunds Superstores and Connivence Stores with the Region.Having your own transport will be an advantage for this role., We're looking for a confident, approachable Retail Security Officer who can bring energy, professionalism and a calm presence to the shop floor. This is a role where no two days are the same as you'll be helping to protect people, prevent loss and create a safe, positive shopping experience for customers and colleagues alike.

What You'll Be Doing

£14.51 per hour + Paid Lunch Break
