Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to protect the shop floor, deter theft and ensure a safe, positive shopping experience for customers and colleagues. The role offers flexible shifts discussed at interview and opportunities to build a rewarding career with Mitie.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
• Deter theft, antisocial behaviour and public order offences.
• Carry out regular store patrols.
• Operate CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss.
• Work closely with store management teams.
• Support partnerships with Police and local crime networks.
• Use Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety onsite.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Working closely with store management teams
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite
