About the role

As a Relief Pharmacist with us, you’ll provide excellent customer and patient care. It’s more than dispensing medicine; it’s listening, advising, and reassuring. You won't be based at one pharmacy but will serve across multiple locations. Your main responsibilities include:

1. Delivering the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice
2. Making legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
3. Building the pharmacy capabilities of store teams
4. Reviewing operations via audits, observations, and risk assessments to ensure safety
5. Providing a range of professional pharmacy services

What you’ll need to have

Success in this role requires a professional, caring character and a genuine desire to improve. You will also:

1. Be registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
2. Demonstrate high professional expertise and respect among stakeholders, peers, patients, and local professionals
3. Have a passion for community pharmacy and excellent patient care
4. Be collaborative and team-oriented
5. Possess excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and local/national services
6. Be an effective communicator, able to meet diverse customer and patient needs
