High Life Highland is seeking a Relief Caretaker to join our team in Inverness. The role involves cleaning and maintaining the Culloden Library and Centre, managing bookings and ensuring high security and safety standards.

You will assist with reception duties, customer service, and minor maintenance, and may be required for out-of-hours calls and events. A PVG check is noted as not required for this post. Training and development are expected as part of the role.

• Health and safety awareness

• General building maintenance
• Security and risk awareness

Responsabilités

• Clean and maintain Culloden Library and Centre to high standards
• Carry out health and safety checks and keep records
• Check bookings and prepare rooms for lets, clear after use
• Carry out minor maintenance and repairs for safe operation
• Hold keys for opening/locking and respond to out-of-hours calls
• Assist reception, cash handling and customer service duties
• Ensure appropriate user behaviour and manage late events when required
• Attend required training and contribute to continuous improvement
• Promote sustainable practices and reduce wastage
• Provide relief caretake/steward services to Raigmore Community Centre
