Job summary

Derby City Council is seeking a Relief Level Two Gymnastics Coach to work at Springwood Leisure Centre. You will coach children from 9 months to 15 years, support an award scheme for 230+ children, and help set up and pack away equipment.

The role requires Level 2 gymnastics qualification, teamwork, initiative, and the ability to work under pressure. The position is temporary/ fixed term until March 2028 with possible extension, on-site at the leisure centre, with hourly pay plus holiday

Qualifications

• Qualified to level two in gymnastics or equivalent.
• Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Able to work under pressure and be flexible in approach.

Responsibilities

• Coaching children aged 9 months to 15 years in our Gymnastics programme.
• Progress 230+ children through our award scheme as part of a coaching team.
• Help set up and take down gymnastics sessions at the centre.
• Contribute to achieving the centre's income goals for coaching.
