Job summary

Derby City Council is seeking a Relief Level One Gymnastics Coach at Springwood Leisure Centre. This temporary post is until March 2028 (with possible extension) and hours are on a relief, as-required basis.

You will coach children aged 9 months to 15 years, help progress over 230 children through our award scheme, and assist with setting up and taking down gymnastics sessions. The role requires a friendly, flexible team player with initiative and the ability to work under pressure; DBS is

The Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and energetic individuals to work at Springwood Leisure Centre as Relief Level One Gymnastics Coach.

What you’ll be doing

• Coaching children aged 9 months to 15 years our Gymnastics programme
• As part of a team of coaches progress our 230+ children through our award scheme
• Helping the centre set up and take down gymnastics sessions
• Help the centre towards its income goals for Coaching
