Job summary

Derby City Council is seeking Relief Front of House Assistants to support Derby LIVE events at Derby Market Place and Derby Arena. The role covers ice rink, pantomime and other venue activities, with flexible, varied daytime and weekend shifts.

You'll check tickets, assist seating, sell programmes and merchandise, help with evacuation and venue setup, and maintain cleanliness. Training will be provided, with a two-month fixed-term contract and potential extension.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to interact with a wide range of people.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Check tickets and answer queries.
• Seat customers and sell programmes/merchandise.
• Assist with evacuation and event space setup and cleaning.
• Work across Derby Market Place and Derby Arena during busy periods.
