Job summary

McCarthy Stone in Buckinghamshire is seeking a Relief Duty Manager at Rutherford House, Chalfont St Peter, to support residents’ safety, wellbeing and independence and to respond to emergency calls during night shifts.

You will oversee day-to-day care tasks, coordinate social activities, and foster a welcoming environment for residents and staff while enjoying flexible day, evening and weekend shifts with enhanced weekend pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior care role.
• Minimum Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Pay and Hours

• Day shifts: £16.78 per hour
• Sleeping night shifts: £13.03 per hour
• Weekend premium: Additional £1 per hour
• Additional supplemental £11.25 per sleep shift
• Shifts: Flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts
• Scheduled in coordination with the Estate and Operations Managers
