McCarthy & Stone is seeking a Relief Care Assistant for Cherrett Court in Ferndown to support residents with daily living activities and wellbeing. You will perform housekeeping and domestic tasks across the estate and encourage participation in activities that promote independence.
You will need a warm, friendly approach, care experience, and a commitment to excellent service. QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred, with other relevant qualifications considered.
McCarthy & Stone are recruiting for a professional Relief Care Assistant to join the team at our prestigious Cherrett Court development in Ferndown, Dorset. Built in 2010, Cherrett Court is a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 46 apartments with the over 70’s in mind, providing excellent on-site facilities and set within beautiful grounds.
Hourly rate: £13.26 per hour, plus up to an additional £1.30 for working evenings and weekends.
Hours: To cover shifts on an 'as and when' basis when required, to be discussed with the development Manager.
As a Relief Care & Support Assistant you will provide the highest quality of individual care to our residents enabling them to live later life well. You will deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate, including apartment cleans. Duties will be varied and include supporting and encouraging our residents to take part in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing. You will help them to book appointments, arrange transport and where necessary, escort them on visits and assist with their shopping. Every day will be diverse, and you’ll have the opportunity to use your people skills to make a real difference.
