Job summary

Avante Care & Support is recruiting a Domestic Assistant for Malling Grange, a brand-new luxury care home opening Autumn 2026. You will help residents live well by keeping spaces clean, comfortable and welcoming, with training provided. Role offers relief shifts with pay of £12.75–£12.95 per hour.

Interviews in July, start in September 2026. No prior care experience required, full training and ongoing support available.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or domestic work is desirable.
• Knowledge of hygiene and infection control standards or willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual, well-organised and caring in a home environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
• Follow cleaning schedules and infection control procedures.
• Replenish supplies and report maintenance issues.
• Support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Work in line with health and safety regulations and home policies.

Join the opening team at Malling Grange, our brand-new luxury care home opening in Autumn 2026.

Designed around luxurious interiors and modern care technology, Malling Grange will offer spacious en-suite bedrooms, elegant lounges, a café/bistro, cinema, hair salon, landscaped gardens, wellbeing spaces and four individually themed care suites.

As a Care & Support Assistant, you'll help residents live happy, fulfilling lives by providing compassionate care, promoting independence, supporting wellbeing and creating meaningful connections every day.

No previous care experience? No problem. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
