Job summary

Boots is seeking a Relief Dispenser to support pharmacists across stores in the UK. You will dispense prescriptions, provide advice to patients and help ensure safe medicine supply while building relationships with customers.

This role requires travel across the defined geography, completion of NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor, and valid UK right to work. Boots offers benefits and career development, with training updates and potential pathways to Pharmacy Technician or leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent).
• Ability to travel across the defined geography with full flexibility.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience working in community pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and adherence.
• Communicate with store teams to ensure continuity of care.
