Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Relief Dispenser to work across stores within a defined geographical area. You will support pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions, advising patients, and delivering pharmacy services while ensuring safety and compliance.

This UK-based role requires travel across geography with regular training, and opportunities to progress to Pharmacy Technician roles within Boots. Remote applicants are not considered, and right-to-work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or equivalent).
• Ability to travel across the defined geography with full flexibility.
• Current and valid UK right to work (This role is not eligible for sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Work with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support the safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with operational processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and medicines to promote adherence and reduce waste.
• Communicate with store teams to ensure continuity of care.
