Job summary

Anchor Group Services is seeking an experienced Relief Cleaning Operative to cover various sites across Leeds. You will perform cleaning tasks safely and professionally, ensuring high standards and attention to detail. The role requires flexibility to cover shifts and DBS clearance prior to starting.

The position involves supporting on-site cleaning teams, maintaining hygiene standards, and delivering excellent customer service. Working hours are zero hours on a site-focused roster.

Responsibilities

• Provide superb customer service and interact with on-site clients
• Use site-specific equipment and chemicals
• Carry out other reasonable management requests

Job Role: Relief Cleaning Operative

Working Hours: Zero hours

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Location: Various sites in Leeds

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for an experienced cleaner to join our established team as a Relief Cleaning Operative covering various sites across Leeds.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaning tasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, have the ability to communicate on all levels and provide flexibility to cover additional shifts, as and when required.

As a Relief Cleaning Operative, you will be required to support the site cleaning team by being flexible and reliable to cover shifts as required.

Duties include:

• Cleaning of designated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaning specification is completed, as per the site instructions.
  
• Emptying of bins, ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly.
  
• Attending to spillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within an efficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure site and staff safety
  
• Following H&S and COSHH regulations
  
• Proactive interaction with on-site clients and customers, offering superb customer service
  
• Use of site-specific equipment, machinery and handling chemicals
  
• Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
