Job summary

Anchor Group Services, Liverpool, is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join the on-site team at The Albany. You will perform cleaning tasks to a high standard, maintain professionalism and flexibility to cover shifts as required.

Two shifts are available: 7:00–9:00 and 9:00–11:00 (10 hours/week), paid £12.71/hour. Requirements include COSHH awareness, good verbal and written communication, reliability and initiative; full uniform provided and access to Anchor Academy training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cleaning designated areas to the site specification.

• Providing courteous on-site client service.
• Carrying out other reasonable tasks as required.
• Maintaining professional conduct at all times.

Job Role: Cleaning Operative

We have two positions available, with the following working hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00-9:00 - 10 hours per week
  
• Monday to Friday, 9:00-11:00 - 10 hours per week
  

Pay:£12.71 per hour

Location: The Albany, 8 Old Hall Street, Liverpool, Merseyside, L3 9PA

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for an experienced cleaner to join the site cleaning team at The Albany in Liverpool.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaning tasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, have the ability to communicate on all levels and provide flexibility to cover additional shifts, as and when required.

Duties include:

• Cleaning of designated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaning specification is completed, as per the site instructions
  
• Emptying of bins, ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly
  
• Attending to spillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within an efficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure site and staff safety
  
• Following H&S and COSHH regulations
  
• Use of site-specific equipment, machinery and handling chemicals
  
• Proactive interaction with on-site clients and customers, offering superb customer service
  
• Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
  
• Maintaining professional conduct at all times
