Job summary

Break Charity is looking for a Children's Relief Support Worker to help children and young people in care. You will work flexible bank/relief shifts including evenings and weekends, with on-site duties in King's Lynn, Norfolk.

You will support positive development, provide consistent care, and collaborate with a supportive team and therapy services. You will need to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 24 months, which Break will fund.

Qualifications

• Completing a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 24 months.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible support to children and young people in care.
• Create a nurturing environment alongside a supportive team.
• Encourage confidence, independence and personal development.
• Support participation in new experiences and activities.
• Complete Level 3 Diploma within 24 months and have safeguarding duties as required.
