Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a Relief Chef Manager to support our South M25 region and surrounding areas. The role requires leadership in fast-paced contract catering and a passion for fresh seasonal menus created by you.

You will cover holidays, mobilisations and provide location support with high standards of food quality and service. You will bring a Chef Manager level background, be able to manage costs and compliance, and showcase your culinary skills daily while promoting company standards

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced kitchens at Head Chef or Chef Manager level in contract catering (ideally Independent Schools or B&I).
• Creative with seasonal ingredients and bespoke menus you create.

Responsibilities

• Cover Head Chef/Chef Manager holidays and sickness.
• Support with mobilisations.
• Provide troubleshooting at locations needing extra support.
• Cover vacancies as needed.
• Produce food for service using fresh ingredients from scratch.
• Create bespoke seasonal menus from regional suppliers.
• Complete food costings as required.
• Complete company bookwork.
• Ensure food standards and allergen control policies are followed.
