Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a Relief Chef Manager to cover locations across the South M25 region and surrounding areas. You will lead kitchens, manage teams and create fresh, seasonal menus using local ingredients, while ensuring brand standards and cost control.

Ideal candidates have Head Chef or Chef Manager experience in contract catering and excellent English communication. This role offers travel with expenses paid and strong opportunities for development within a respected independent caterer.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced kitchens at Head Chef or Chef Manager level in contract catering.
• Ability to create bespoke seasonal menus from regional suppliers.
• Excellent English communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Cover Head Chef | Chef Manager holidays and sickness.
• Support mobilisations and locations requiring additional help.
• Produce food to service using fresh ingredients while following brand standards.
• Create bespoke seasonal menus from regional suppliers and manage food costings.

Education

City & Guild 706/1 & 2 or equivalent
