Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd. is seeking a Relief Chef Manager to support sites across the South M25 region and surrounding areas. You will cover holiday and sickness for Head Chef/Chef Manager, mobilisations, and locations needing extra support.

You will create seasonal menus with fresh ingredients, manage food costs, and ensure brand standards and allergen controls are followed, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced kitchens at Head Chef or Chef Manager level in contract catering.
• Ability to create bespoke seasonal menus and work with fresh ingredients.
• Strong understanding of food costings and stock control.
• Hold a recognised cooking qualification and a Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Cover Head Chef / Chef Manager holidays and sickness.
• Support mobilisations and locations needing extra help.
• Troubleshoot at locations requiring additional support.
• Produce food for service from fresh ingredients and from-scratch recipes.
• Create bespoke seasonal menus from regional suppliers.
• Complete food costings and company bookwork, ensuring standards.
