East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust in Blackpool is seeking a relief chef to support the Catering Department at Victoria Hospital. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking and serving meals for patients, staff and visitors, following standard recipes and safety standards.

The role involves working five days out of seven, including weekends and bank holidays, with flexibility to cover different sections of the department to meet service needs while ensuring high quality, safe and nutritious

• Prepare, cook and serve all types of foods including dietary needs and allergens.
• Follow standardised recipes and food safety legislation.
• Relief role: 5 days over 7 including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, cook and serve meals for patients, staff and visitors.
• Ensure meals meet nutritional standards and are attractively presented.
• Complete HACCP documentation and date-code all food items.
• Attend wards to discuss catering quality matters with patients and staff.
• Maintain hygiene, waste control and correct storage of foods.
