Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust in Blackpool seeks a relief chef to join the Catering Department at Victoria Hospital. Qualifications

• Hold recent Qualification in Food Hygiene Level 2.
• NVQ Level II in Food Preparation or equivalent (706 1/2 Catering) as stated in job description.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve all types of foods, including dietary needs and allergens.
• Follow standardised recipes and food safety legislation (HACCP) and document accordingly.
• Ensure correct storage with date coding and HACCP compliance; minimise waste.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness while on duty.
• Attend wards as required to discuss catering quality and service improvements.
