We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated permanent relief caretakers. The salary for this position is Grade 6, which is £13.05 per hour.
Candidates must have the ability to use their own initiative and work as part of a team. You will be required to work throughout the borough for both short-term and long-term placements. The working hours are typically 37 hours per week, between 6:00 or 6:30 am and 9:30 or 10:00 am, and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, all year round.
This role includes responsibilities such as being a key holder, ensuring the environment is secure, and sharing responsibility for opening and closing the premises. Attendance out of hours may be necessary in the event of an alarm call. The role also involves supervision, repairs, and maintenance tasks; DIY skills would be an asset. A driving licence is required due to the need to be onsite out of hours when necessary.
Relevant experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
