It suits someone with prior caretaking, maintenance or trades experience who can work largely independently, as the contract is on call rather than fixed hours. Applicants need an Enhanced DBS check and must declare unprotected cautions and convictions, as the role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
