Job summary

CrossReach Trading Ltd. is seeking a Relief Care Worker to support older people in Scotland with daily routines, personal care and companionship, across shifts.

You'll be kind, dependable and adaptable, able to build trusting relationships with residents and families. Experience in care is welcome but not essential, as training and support are provided. PVG checks and SSSC registration are required, with opportunities to grow in a faith-based provider.

Qualifications

• Be kind, dependable and able to adapt to different situations and shifts.
• Willing to work towards SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare if not held.
• Membership of PVG Scheme and registration with SSSC are required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and day-to-day living.
• Assist with meals and promote nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage independence and individual choice.
• Help residents remain active and engaged in daily life.
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care.
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures.
