McCarthy & Stone, at Thomas Court in Pen-y-lan, Cardiff, seeks a Relief Care & Support Assistant to support residents with daily living and wellbeing. You will help with housekeeping, arrange transport, book appointments, and accompany visits in a busy retirement living environment.

You’ll cover shifts on an as-and-when basis, delivering friendly, high-quality service to older residents, in a role that values care, empathy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support environments.
• Passion for wellbeing of older people and teamwork.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality care to residents and support daily living activities.
• Deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans.
• Assist residents with appointments, transport, and shopping; accompany visits when needed.
• Contribute to a friendly, supportive community and encourage participation in activities.
