Job summary

McCarthy & Stone Ltd is recruiting a Care Assistant to join the team at Thomas Court, Pen-y-lan, Cardiff. You will support residents with personal care, housekeeping, and daily activities in a Retirement Living Plus setting.

The role offers an hourly rate of £13.26 per hour with potential earnings of up to £1.30 extra for evenings and weekends. A QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred, and UK-based applications only.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support settings preferred.
• Passion for wellbeing of older people.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
• Assist with housekeeping, apartment cleans, and domestic tasks.
• Help residents book appointments, arrange transport, and accompany visits when needed.
• Encourage participation in activities to support health and wellbeing.
